Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor and film producer best known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel franchise of Avengers. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 13, 1981, Evans began performing in school plays and community theatre. One of his first film appearances was on The Fugitive (2000), followed by small roles in the next couple of years. In 2007 he played in two consecutive films (one of them the second instalment of the Marvel franchise Fantastic Four) that landed him tons of positive views.
In 2011, Evans first played Captain America, cementing the role in several subsequent films. Evans recently voiced Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Toy Story spin-off Lightyear (2022).
